Steven John Goralski

Steven J. Goralski is an experienced military defense attorney, with court martial trial experience in Marine Corps, Army, and Air Force courts.  He served on active duty in the Marine Corps for over 11 years, attaining the rank of Major. He spent several years as a defense attorney at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, NC; one of the busiest defense offices in the Marine Corps. He also spent time as the Deputy Staff Judge Advocate (legal advisor) to the Commanding General of Camp Lejeune.

As a defense attorney, he advised hundreds of clients under investigation and facing judicial punishment. He has represented clients at administrative separations boards, special courts- arital and general courts-martial, many times receiving very favorable results.

As the Deputy Staff Judge Advocate (DSJA) for the Commanding General of Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, Mr. Goralski advised on matters involving the UCMJ and numerous Marine Corps and DOD Regulations. He was a voting member on at the Incident Determination Committee (IDC) meeting conducted every week. The vote determined if the member had met criteria for a domestic incident (spousal physical/emotional/sexual abuse, child neglect, etc.). He also reviewed IDC appeals and advised the Deputy Commander on the appeals. Furthermore, he provided NCIS with probable cause determinations as the DSJA.

He takes a genuine interest in every client, his or her case and the outcome. Mr. Goralski is a passionate advocate who has found his calling in representing service members.
